The iconic performance art collective Arcadia made its grand debut in Doha, Qatar, in the closing months of 2022. Three beast stages, erupting balls o...f flame, and an incredible ambisonic sound system brought untold legends to life in the Middle East, taking crowds on a once-in-a-lifetime journey of the world’s top DJ sets. A phenomenal, 50-tonne, fire-breathing ‘Spider’ and a laser-crazy ‘Reactor’ were the tour de force of the festival. Breathing life into a pile of military hardware scrap, Arcadia’s latest performance is nothing less than a spectacular culmination of pyrotechnics, special effects and creative genius.
Arcadia welcomed over 25,000 visitors over the course of November and December 2022. Set on the backdrop of Ras Bu Fontas metro station, this extraordinary project was tailored exclusively for Qatar, masterfully brought to life by Alchemy Project and presented by Ooredoo.
